WHAT'S GOOD FOR CHENEY IS GOOD FOR
THE COUNTRY?
Washington, D.C., March 10, 2004: We find
ourselves, a bit surprised, woofing hooray for a stand Vice
President Dick Cheney took. As you may know, this member of
the usually ultra conservative community actually defended gay
rights for humans. True, it took a lesbian daughter to get him
there, but nonetheless, nip, nip hoorah! And now there is a
television ad sponsored by gay Republicans (!), using the veep's
comments as proof that the anti-gay wedding amendment to the
Constitution, proposed by the President, is unthinkable.
We say the tide is
turning. Look how many cities are allowing humans to sign up
for gay marriages!
Carpe diem!
It's time for us to seize the moment and get our message out to those
guys in Washington. If humans can wed regardless of gender, so
should our fuzzy and feathered friends. Join the tens of
